Proxy Sites

Web proxies are an extremely useful tool for many purposes. Server admins can utilize a Web-based HTTP proxy server to perform testing, analysis, security auditing, and many other important functions of server administration.

The Servermind Proxy Network hosts a stable, managed network of anonymous Web proxy sites. Managing our server resources means we can offer more stable, secure proxies and filter out all of the bad sites.

HTTP proxies are also commonly used for bypassing firewalls or other network restrictions to access restricted sites. While this is not usually a good idea for employees accessing MySpace from work (when your boss thinks you're actually working!), there are many circumstances when a Web proxy is required though, such as while travelling, on a wireless network, a secure home network, or even at work (with permission from your boss, of course!).
